I always wondered whenever I heard this phrase "Falling in love"......Why does somebody have to FALL in love?? I have always understood or attributed the word "fall" to something that is negative...Love is positive..
This curiosity/inquisitive thoughts led me to the first resort of all questions -"The great Google"...and came across the Wikipedia page which said -"The use of the term "fall" implies that the process is in some way inevitable, uncontrollable, risky, irreversible, and that it puts the lover in a state of vulnerability, in the same way the word "fall" is used in the phrase "to fall ill" or "to fall into a trap"."
Well...this is something that can stir a debate...Some might dismiss this as rubbish...while some others might argue the other way saying it is love for the other person that brings you to a position wherein you become vulnerable to external forces...
